Scholarships Offered: Unity Church of Vermont lovingly supports all on their spiritual journey and does not intend to have the cost of any event, class, or workshop keep people from participating. It is also important that the work of the ministry continue and flourish and it does so through the free-will contributions of its members and those who attend services, classes and events. If you are in need of a scholarship, please make your request to Rev. Lane. If you would like to contribute to a scholarship fund, please note this on your love offering.
The Power of Kabbalah Class – Using The Power of Kabbalah, by Michael Berg, and other recent works, we will cover the time-tested wisdom and practical tools offered through the work of the Kabbalah Centre International. The goal of the 9-week class is to provide, through interaction, an on-going manual for daily life to stimulate personal and even global change. Each class will fundamentally stand on its own and include materials and interaction. Continuing on Thursdays until August 12, from 7 – 8:30 p.m. No classes on July 7 & 14. Facilitated by Alex Nimick. Tuition is $10/class.
Abraham-Hicks
Abraham-Hicks Group meets on Wednesdays 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. at the church. We are studying and discussing the new book, The Vortex. Abraham teaches that all things in our life, wanted and unwanted are brought forth through the most powerful universal law, The Law of Attraction. The main event has never been the manifestation; the main event has always been the way you feel moment by moment, because that’s what life is.

Oneness Experience
Receive Oneness Experience - Sunday at 9:00 a.m. on August 22nd. Oneness Experience or Deeksha offers a simple, effortless method of giving profound rest to the body and peace to the mind. It removes deep-rooted stress, promoting good health and rejuvenating the whole system. It improves the functioning of the brain, expands the mind and can give a profound experience of inner peace. The purpose is to expand your awareness, awaken your heart, heal your relationships, and promote wellness in all areas of your life. It creates awareness of and insight into what motivates you on a deeper level, allowing for profound transformation. Come immerse yourself in Divine peace, love, and grace. Community Sunday Services – Sharing Your Light Within
Each of us is becoming an enlightened master in our own life and we have much we can share with others. We offer you an invitation to shine your light, lift us up and let us get to know you better in our summer Sunday series we’re calling “Community Services – Sharing the Light Within.” Please come share your personal story of transformation, spiritual awakening, healing, and enlightenment with us. The available Sundays are July 18, 25, August 1, 8, 15, and 22.
What challenges have strengthened you and made a better person? What event in your life has brought you new insights and changed the way you are in the world? Share a healing, a miraculous prosperity story, the time a stranger was there for you. You all are invited to meet with Rev. Lane, go over your story with her and then later you’ll share with us all for about 5 minutes during a Sunday service. This is your opportunity to help us build and deepen our connections with one another plus become inspired by the magnificence of your neighbors and friends in the process. Call or email Rev. Southern Vermont Unity in Rutland on the 3rd Mondays, July 19th and August 16th, 6:00 – 8:30 pm in the Food Court dining room at the hospital, Rutland Regional Medical Center, 160 Allen St. Our new Unity group is growing as we discuss Unity and related New Thought teachings together. Our intention is to have each gathering be more of a ‘church’ experience, with a sense of Spirit and camaraderie in God’s presence than perhaps what the term class or study group implies. Sue Riley in Concert here at Unity Friday, August 13 – 7 pm Come Be Uplifted and Inspired! “A Life built around Music” may be the best way to sum up Sue K Riley. She was drawn to music from the age of 5 when her Grandfather, Waldo, started helping her with piano. Sue always knew that music would be her life’s calling. Believing in the power of music to touch heart and heal lives, she continues to mentor, teach, and share music through a wide variety of means. As a prolific singer songwriter, Sue has created original uplifting spiritual music, along with numerous songbooks. She also tours the country performing in “PosiPalooza” concerts. To date, they have produced over 100 of these concerts to rave reviews. Sue has been Music Director of Unity Church of Clearwater, Florida for more than a decade. In addition, she is the chair of Unity Worldwide Ministries music team. “Sue is a powerful yet humble goddess of Divine Spirit expressing through music. You’ll not want to miss her concert.” Love offerings will be joyfully accepted at the door.
Coming in September
The Undefended Life, the Art and Practice of Living with Nothing and No One Against You – a new class on Thursdays Sept. 2 – 30th. We know in principle that all of life must be for us, yet when it comes to actual practice we often unknowingly act as if there are valid exceptions to this principle. Using the work of Gary Simmons and Rima Bonario this course uses a unique blend of quantum science, brain research, and spiritual principles to systematically re-pattern our consciousness and behavior.
