Contact the church to learn more about the classes.
Scholarships Offered: Unity Church of Vermont lovingly supports all on their spiritual journey and does not intend to have the cost of any event, class, or workshop keep people from participating. It is also important that the work of the ministry continue and flourish and it does so through the free-will contributions of its members and those who attend services, classes and events. If you are in need of a scholarship, please make your request to Rev. Lane. If you would like to contribute to a scholarship fund, please note this on your love offering.

Laughter Yoga
Laughter Yoga on Sundays, January 8, 15 and 29, 11:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. led by Essa Sky. Laughter Yoga is apolitical, spiritual, accepting, and cooperative. Laughter improves interpersonal relationships and enhances communication. At a deeper level it proves that pain can be overcome and that we can all live in peace together. Laughter has been rediscovered as a powerful tool in the battle against many mental and physical diseases, teaching us emotional resilience: how to make happiness a choice and not a consequence, and how to respond positively even in the face of adversity. Best of all, it’s fun and happy! It begins promptly at 11:45 in the upstairs classroom. Please arrive at 11:30 to prepare and complete paperwork. You are always encouraged to arrive on time. First-timers may not participate in the class unless they arrive early for orientation. Please wear comfortable, loose clothing and comfortable shoes. Please bring a yoga mat, towel, and water bottle. Suggested love offering is $10 per class.
Happiness, Living Divine Will Classes
Happiness, Living Divine Will Classes – Two classes of Eight Sessions on Tuesdays, January 17 – March 6, 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. at Kathy Valiquette’s home in Colchester AND 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. at Rev. Lane’s home in Essex. Divine Will is a mystery to many; this class seeks to simplify the mystery, putting it in a context that can be understood as we live our human experience. Divine will is a call to action, expressed as the life we are living. It is not about circumstances or events; it’s about who we are in each event. As we peel away everything that is unlike our true nature, which is love, we begin to live a life of joy, oneness with all creation, and thankfulness. This is an 8-week intensive course; materials are provided. Suggested $10/per session tuition. Partial scholarships are provided upon request. Contact Rev. Lane to register 802-876-7696 or lane2love@yahoo.com
