Love and Forgiveness Project with the Brownell Library
For about a year the Village of Essex Junction’s Brownell Library and folks from the surrounding communities have been involved in a project to explore love and forgiveness. This project has included book discussion groups, films, and related activities in the neighborhood churches, including our own Unity of Vermont. People have been exploring the dynamics of love and forgiveness in both their personal and civic lives, dialoging with others from diverse backgrounds on how listen and speak with openness, and thus gaining new perspectives on healing painful relationships.
Last April we at Unity of Vermont held an International Prayer for Peace Vigil with interfaith representatives and in September Unity sponsored the 11 Days of Global Unity series of events as part of this. We will now take part in the Love & Forgiveness Wrap-up, scheduled for Tuesday, May 19, 6 - 7 pm on Channel 17. Please call 862-3966 with questions and comments.
