Dismas House is a community project, a residential transition house to support former prisoners in re-establishing themselves in the community. We are cooking one dinner a month, the fourth Monday, for the residents & staff there. Kathy Valiquette, coordinator.

History of the Building
The wood structured building was built in 1874 as a Baptist Church and sold to the Masons in 1927. It was their Masonic Temple until 2004 when it was sold to Unity Church of Vermont. Lightening destroyed the steeple in the 1940’s.
